If you have it, wear something related to your military service, or current military groups you're in now, or just patriotic, or casual. Bring along the 'kids'; the troops like to see the children!

Participation in the Dallas Veteran's Day Parade

The Greater Dallas Chapter participates in the annual Veteran's Day Parade held downtown Dallas and is one of it sponsors.

The Chapter considers its legislative activities to be one of its most important functions. The Chapter participates in MOAA’s support of Congressional legislation important to active duty and reserve component service personnel, retirees, veterans, and their families and survivors. This is accomplished by “grass roots” communications by members with their Congressional legislators through emails and postcards and by visits to the local offices of such legislators by the Legislative Affairs Committee and Chapter members. Members are encouraged to join these visits to their respective legislators. The Legislative Affairs Committee also similarly supports the activities of the Texas Council of Chapters, MOAA, to achieve the passage of similar legislation by the Texas Legislature.
